Appeal for Victims to Come Forward Following Leisure Centre Thefts Across Hampshire – UKNIP

Authorities investigating a string of thefts at a leisure center in the New Forest area of Hampshire are urging potential victims to step forward.

If you have recently experienced theft of items while visiting a swimming pool, gym, or leisure center in Hampshire, authorities are urging you to report these incidents as soon as possible.

Police are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have had wallets, bank cards, and/or cash stolen, especially if the stolen money has been subsequently used in betting shops.

Incidents can be reported by calling 101 or by visiting the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website. Alternatively, individuals can reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting their website.

A 31-year-old man from Dorset was arrested on Saturday, March 9, in connection with five reported thefts at New Milton Health & Leisure on Gore Road. These incidents were reported to authorities between Wednesday, February 28, and Sunday, March 7.

The suspect has been released on conditional police bail while further investigations are carried out.
