Authorities are appealing for information following an incident where a young boy was bitten by a dog in the area of Tamar Court, near Clyde Court, Grantham. The incident occurred around 4.30pm on Saturday, June 1.
According to reports, the dog involved is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. It was being walked by a young family member when it attacked the teenage boy. The victim was promptly taken to the hospital and is currently receiving medical treatment. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.
In response to the incident, two males, aged 14 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control, causing injury. They have been interviewed and subsequently released on bail while investigations continue.
The dog responsible for the attack has been seized by the police after being surrendered by its owner.
