Appeal Following Serious Collision on the Thanet Way

 

Witnesses and dashcam footage are being sought following a serious collision on the Thanet Way.

Shortly before 7.50pm on Saturday, 3 May 2025, a blue Skoda left the London-bound carriageway of the A299 between St Nicholas-at-Wade and Herne Bay and collided with a tree.

One of the car’s occupants, a woman in her 60s, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in London.
The other occupant of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is carrying out enquiries and has issued an appeal for witnesses and any dashcam footage that could assist with the investigation.
