Appeal Following Malmesbury Abbey Burglary

Officers are investigating following a burglary at Malmesbury Abbey overnight.

At around 10am this morning (16/11), officers responded after being informed that a number of items inside the abbey, including goblets and ornaments, had been stolen.

Money from inside the abbey’s charity box was also stolen.

Our enquiries are ongoing.
