A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police is currently at the scene of a serious collision near the junction of Garlinge High Street and Shottendane Road, near Margate, which took place at around 9.40am. Shottendane Road is currently closed while emergency services respond, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.”
