Tragic Death on Eastfields Road

A woman in her 50s has died following a suspected bus incident on Eastfields Road, Mitcham. Police were called at around 9.40pm on October 18 after reports of a medical emergency. Despite the swift arrival of London Ambulance Service, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

Police Launch Full Investigation

Officers are probing whether the woman was involved in a collision with a bus. The exact circumstances remain unclear as detectives continue their enquiries.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson appealed for information from the public. They said:

“Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact us on 101, quoting 7408/18OCT25, or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.”
