A teenage boy has appeared in court charged in connection with a stabbing in Surrey Quays – UKNIP

On Saturday, 17 October, three males, aged 16, aged 17 and aged 20 were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. All three were released on bail to return on a date in mid-November. On Saturday, 17 October, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with wounding with intent and was remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 October where he was released on bail to appear at Bromley Youth Court on Thursday, 22 October. This follows a report of an assault at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre at 12:15hrs on Friday, 16 October where an 18-year-old man was found suffering from stab injuries. He was taken to an east London hospital with injuries that were not life threatening and has since been discharged.
