A suspect has been charged after police saw and stopped a potential robbery taking place in Dover
Three Charged in Canterbury Drug Dealing Investigation

On the afternoon of 15 July Kent Police officers on duty at the police station in Ladywell heard a commotion taking place outside and intervened. It was reported that attempts had been made to rob a man of his mobile phone. The victim sustained a broken arm and bruising. Officers acted quickly to intervene and get the victim to safety.

Barzan Kadir, 19, of no fixed address, was arrested and on 16 July detectives charged him with attempted robbery. He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on 17 July and was bailed to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 19 August.
