A suspect has been charged after officers were called to a report that a car had collided with parked vehicles in Margate – UKNIP

Kent Police was called to the collision in Addiscombe Road, Margate, at 3.41pm on Tuesday 8 August 2023. No injuries were reported. An estimated seven cars were found to be damaged. Officers attended and promptly made an arrest.

Vitalij Kovzan, 37, of Kings Mews, Margate, was charged on Wednesday 9 August with driving a vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit.

He was bailed to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday 11 September.

The charge, following an investigation by Thanet’s local response officers, is the latest result as part of Kent Police’s Safer Summer campaign.
