A 71-year-old Woman Was Attacked Man Charged With Attempted Murder And Rape

A man has been charged after a woman was attacked in Worcester

Anthony Roberts, 56, of Amber Heights, Green Hill, Worcester, has been charged with attempted murder, sexual assault and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court later today (Monday 8 May).

Police were called just after 2am on Sunday after a 71 year old woman was attacked in Kleve Walk in the city centre. She remains in hospital in a critical condition.
