Millbank office block in lockdown
Around 400 people have been evacuated from offices following a large gas leak on Millbank, SW1P. Millbank is closed from Parliament Square to Lambeth Bridge. Please avoid the area if possible A network of streets around Westminster have been closed due to a suspected gas leak in Millbank. The road along the North Bank of the River Thames, just west of the Houses of Parliament, is home to numerous organisations including political offices, intelligence agency MI5 and the centre of political broadcasters.
