14-Year-Old Girl Bitten by Dog in St Leonards

Police are appealing for information following reports of an out-of-control dog in St Leonards.

On Wednesday, 29 May, a 14-year-old girl was bitten by a dog in Gensing Gardens, off Charles Road, at approximately 9:45am. The girl sustained a minor injury to her arm.

The dog, described as medium-sized, brown and white, and of a pitbull-type breed, was on a rope lead and referred to by its owner as Panda.

The owner is described as a man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’7″ tall, and slim.

Police are keen to speak to the owner and urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
