A further arrest has been made as police investigate a fire at a property in Guildhall Street, Canterbury city centre, that occurred on the evening of Monday, 2 December 2024.
Kent Police were called to the scene to assist firefighters in tackling the blaze, which led to road closures and the evacuation of some nearby residents while the fire was extinguished.
Arrests Made
On the evening of Wednesday, 4 December, a 12-year-old girl was arrested in connection with the incident. She has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
This follows the arrest of a 15-year-old boy on Tuesday, 3 December, who was also bailed as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy from Ashford, who was arrested on Wednesday, 4 December, has been released without charge.
Ongoing Investigation
