Police have smashed a massive £1.3 million cannabis growing operation in Cheetham Hill, Manchester. The raid uncovered a sprawling crime den decked out with rows of green cannabis plants under intense grow lights.
Six Men Arrested on Serious Charges
Six suspects are now in custody following the bust. Four men aged 26, 27, 34, and 35 have been arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and immigration offences. Meanwhile, two men aged 42 and 50 face human trafficking allegations.
Inside the Crime Den
Officers discovered an elaborate setup inside the building, featuring wooden beams, black pots, and white plastic sheeting lining the walls. Ventilation systems and ceiling fans were also in place, ensuring optimal conditions for cannabis cultivation.
