£18,000 Of Watches Stolen In Smash And Grab Burglary In Lewes

On Sunday 4th December at around 3am a thieve smashed the window of the Cliffe Antique Centre in Lewes. Where they targeted a cabinet of vintage watches.

All 12 watches in the cabinet were stolen. They had been valued at around £18,000. Nothing else was taken in the break-in.

The shop said on social media “One of the items is one of a kind so you won’t find another like them so at some point we hope they will turn up.”
