Man in his 50s found dead in Gravesend home
A man in his 50s has been found dead at a home in Gravesend.
Concerns for the welfare of a person were raised in Taunton Vale just before 1pm on September 9.
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Police was called to concerns for the welfare of a person at an address in Taunton Vale, Gravesend, at 12.57pm on Monday 9 September 2024.
“Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man in his 50s was subsequently confirmed to be deceased.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.
“The deceased’s next of kin have been informed.”

Person Hospitalised After Fire in Southwark Flats Due to Unsafe Candle Use
A person has been taken to hospital following a fire at a block of flats on Wolseley Street in Southwark.
The blaze damaged a small section of a three-room flat.
Paramedics treated two people at the scene, with one later taken to hospital.
The fire is believed to have been accidental, caused by unsafe candle use.
The Brigade was called at 9.57pm on Monday (September 9), and the fire was under control by 11.02pm.
Crews from Old Kent Road, Deptford, Shoreditch, and New Cross attended the scene.
Firefighters have issued a reminder of their candle safety advice following the flat fire.

British Transport Police have said that the first woman was sexually assaulted on a Circle line train at Liverpool Street station on May 8.
