Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to help rescue a dog that had got stuck in a water pipe in a dyke near Kemsdale Road, Faversham.

Crews wearing water safety equipment located the dog sitting on a concrete ledge, next to flowing water. Crews used a dog pole to prevent him from falling into the water and then used a sheet to secure him in and lift him to safety. The dog was left in the care of his owners.
