Witnesses Sought After Assault in Whitstable

Kent Police are calling for witnesses following an assault in Whitstable that left two men injured. The incident occurred late on Saturday, 6 July 2024, around 11:10 PM, in Victoria Street near the junction with Harbour Street.

According to police reports, the victims, both men in their 40s, were walking when they were approached and attacked by a group of men. Following the assault, the victims sought medical treatment for their injuries.

Officers are currently pursuing all potential lines of inquiry, including reviewing available CCTV footage in the area. They are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information that could assist their investigation to come forward.
