White Van Man involved in Hit and Run in Gosport

Police are appealing for witnesses after road traffic collision in Gosport Officers are appealing for witnesses after a white van was in collision with a 14-year-old boy yesterday (Friday, April 1) at 4.40pm on Tukes Avenue, Gosport. The boy was crossing Tukes Avenue with a group of teenagers close the junction of Lapthorn close when he was struck by a white van. The van did not stop at the scene. The incident has left the boy with a suspected broken ankle. PC Christopher Connor from the Eastern Roads Policing Unit said: “We would like to trace the driver of this van and anyone who was in the Tukes Avenue area yesterday at this time who may have witnessed this incident. “Did you see a group of teenagers crossing the road around this time? Did you see a white van travelling on Tukes Avenue? We would like to hear from you. Call us 101 and quote 44160125132.”
