Westbore Tunnel Closure Causes Delays at Dartford Crossing on the M25
Westbore Tunnel Closure Causes Delays at Dartford Crossing on the M25 – UKNIP

Drivers faced slow-moving traffic on the A282 anti-clockwise heading towards the Dartford Crossing due to an incident that prompted the closure of the Westbore tunnel. Kent Highways reported the closure was a result of a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) at the Dartford Crossing.

The incident led to the diversion of all anti-clockwise traffic through the Eastbore tunnel, causing delays on the approach from M25 J3 (Swanley) and the Dartford Tunnel. Motorists are urged to exercise caution and plan their journeys accordingly.

Authorities are currently working to resolve the situation and reopen the affected tunnel as soon as possible.

Drivers are advised to check traffic updates and consider alternative routes to avoid further delays. It is essential to prioritize safety and be patient during such incidents to prevent any further complications.
