According to reports, the victim was followed by a man who emerged from behind a skip on Jerningham Road. The man continued to walk alongside her, and at the junction of St Asaph Road, he sexually assaulted her.

Detective Constable Marissa Harrison, leading the investigation, is urging anyone who identifies the depicted man or witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact the police immediately. DC Harrison underlined the seriousness of every incident of sexual assault and the commitment to targeting predatory offenders.

“We take every incident of sexual assault extremely seriously and are committed to targeting predatory offenders. Women should be able to walk home safely on our streets without fear of being assaulted, and so it’s crucial that we find this man,” said DC Harrison.
