High-Tech Raid Targets Pockeridge Road

On October 21, neighbourhood officers from Corsham, Chippenham, and Calne teamed up with the Wiltshire Police Drone Unit and intelligence squads to swoop on a Pockeridge Road address. Their mission: to hit drug activity hard.

Big Cannabis Find and Arrests

  • Large quantity of cannabis seized
  • Drug paraphernalia recovered
  • Two arrests: a 57-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man
  • Both held on suspicion of supplying class B drugs

The pair were taken to Melksham custody before being released on bail. Police investigations continue.

Police Send Strong Message to Drug Dealers

“This was a successful warrant with two people arrested and a large amount of cannabis seized,” said Corsham Neighbourhood Sgt Michael Tripp. “We understand worries from residents near suspected drug hotspots. We want to make it clear: we’re cracking down hard on drug crimes.”

If you suspect drug activity in your area, report it at www.wiltshire.police.uk or dial 999 if a crime is happening now.
