Two Men Taken to Hospital After Being Attacked in Maidstone Town Centre
Appeal for Witnesses After Man Injured by Crossbow in Gillingham

Two individuals have been hospitalised following an altercation in Maidstone town centre during the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, rushed to the scene in the Knightrider Street area at approximately 4:30 am in response to reports of an assault involving three men.

Kent Police deployed road closures to facilitate the landing of the air ambulance and to secure the area around the incident site.

According to police reports, the victims sustained injuries inflicted by what is believed to be a metal object. They were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victims are not considered life-threatening at this time.

A spokesperson for Kent Police stated: “Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and to locate the person responsible are ongoing.”

The authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation
