Twelve Year Old School Girl Attacked by a man in Gosport
Detectives are investigating after a 12-year-old girl walking to school was assaulted by a man in Gosport. The girl was walking through an alleyway off Weymouth Avenue leading onto Eastbourne Avenue when a man grabbed her by the arm and assaulted her. The youngster managed to struggle free and ran to safety. The man who police want to trace is described as white, aged in his early 40s and of muscular build. He was around 6ft tall with short blond greasy hair. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie. The incident happened sometime between 8 and 8.15am this morning, Wednesday, 11 October. As well as an investigation into the incident extra police patrols are being carried out in the area.
