Transformation nearly completed in East Cowes

The transformation is almost complete and the area is looking completely open and refreshed after many years of being a close space. Local councillors have been working on behalf of residents with Red Funnel to make improvements and as time goes on with the carparks operation tberr will be additional improvements made. The pricing structure is reasonable as is the size of the parking spaces. If you intend to use the carpark please remember it is a pay and display and its current pricing structure is lower than that of Isle of Wight councils own parking fees which is very welcome. It is intended that the car park will be open next week Subject to completing the final finishing touches. The car park has CCTV in operation providing extra security and community reissuance. It also has placed within the locked boxes power, which will enable powered events to take place in the Kings Square and is something that the Business Association and town councils have asked for from of Isle of Wight Council. This new resource will bring a much needed boost to our towns small businesses by encouraging visitors to stop and explore what our town has to offer during this year.
