Three in custody after aggravated burglary in Ramsgate

Three men are in custody following an aggravated burglary at a house in Ramsgate. Kent Police was called at 11.20pm on Sunday 28 July 2019 to a report that a man was threatened at his home in the Newington Road area and forced to hand over a set of keys. Officers investigated the incident and at 6am the following morning they attended the East Pier and arrested three men on suspicion of burglary following a short pursuit on foot. The men, aged 19, 24 and 28, are all from the Ramsgate area and remain in custody while enquiries continue.
