And you thought parking was bad in Portsmouth …

A lorry driver decided to run the gauntlet of the narrow streets of Portsmouth today in a 40ft arctic lorry and became stuck for over an hour. The red-faced driver was delivering to an address in Samuels Street in Fratton at just after 5pm when he realised he couldn’t move. Finally retreating to his cab, the helpless driver sounded his horn to alert residents to his mess. Many saw the funny side and started taking selfies with the truck. The Eldapoint Ltd lorry finally made its exit after about an hour and a half.
