Teenager Hospitalised After Stabbing in Thamesmead
Police Appeal for Information After Serious Collision in Barking

A teenager has been hospitalised following a stabbing incident in Thamesmead this afternoon.

The incident occurred on Joyce Dawson Way just before 4:10pm today (May 20). Emergency services, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and an air ambulance from the London Ambulance Service, were dispatched to the scene.

The teenager received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to a London major trauma centre. The current condition of the victim is unknown.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called today (Monday 20) at 4:08 PM to reports of a stabbing in Thamesmead, SE28. We sent resources including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and London’s air ambulance. We treated a teenager at the scene and took him to a London major trauma centre.”

The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further information regarding the incident.
