Residents of Woolwich were left shaken on Sunday afternoon following unconfirmed reports of a stabbing on Red Barracks Road, as shared in a local Facebook discussion.

The incident, believed to have occurred on Sunday, May 11, allegedly involved a young male victim, prompting members of the public to speculate and share concerns.

In a now-circulating Facebook post, users claimed that a “young boy got stabbed in Red Barracks Road,” with one user noting, “on a Sunday, wild”, and another referencing hearing sirens for an extended time.
