Warning Issued to Parents After Suspicious Activity Near Peareswood Primary School

 

Parents and carers have been issued an urgent warning after two males were reportedly seen acting suspiciously in a car near Peareswood Primary School in Slade Green.

In a message sent out by St Paul’s (Slade Green) Church of England Primary School, families were informed that both the police and the local Community Safety Team are aware of the situation and are actively investigating the reports.

“Please remain vigilant,” the school warned, adding that the alert is being shared as a precaution to help keep children safe—particularly those who walk home alone.

Safety Appeal to Parents

The school has urged all families to speak with their children about being alert, reporting anything unusual, and not approaching unfamiliar vehicles or people. While no specific threat has been confirmed, the message has caused concern among local residents.

The reported incident comes amid broader efforts to improve school perimeter safety across the borough following previous reports of suspicious behaviour near schools in the region.
