Second Man Charged in Connection with West London Murder

In a significant development in the investigation into the murder of Sean O’Neill in west London, a second individual has been charged in connection with the tragic incident.

Dellan Charles, aged 22 and with no fixed address, has been formally charged with murder and possession of a knife in relation to the case. The charges come following an extensive investigation launched after police responded to reports of a man found injured in Reynolds Road, Hayes, on May 18, 2023, at 6.51pm

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered 30-year-old Sean O’Neill with stab wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of emergency services, O’Neill was pronounced dead at the scene, marking a devastating loss.

Following a public appeal for information, fresh leads emerged, leading authorities to make a significant breakthrough in the case. Acting swiftly on new information, police arrested a 22-year-old man at a residence in Coventry on the morning of Wednesday, March 27. Subsequently, Dellan Charles was charged in connection with O’Neill’s murder and possession of a knife.

Charles appeared before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 30, where he was remanded in custody pending further legal proceedings.

This latest development adds to the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding Sean O’Neill’s murder. Another individual has previously been charged with murder in connection with the case and is scheduled to stand trial at Kingston Crown Court on a later date.
