Probe launched in Southsea after House Sealed off by Police

Hampshire Police have been called to a property in Milton this afternoon (Sunday 23rd April). It is understood that a body has been found with the home on the corner of Meon Road and Mayles Road. Shocked neighbours have spoken of the grim find. The road filled up Police and People in white suits just after 4pm on Sunday. The house has been taped off since than. A couple of forensic van have also turned up at the property as well. A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm we are at a house in Meon Road, Milton in Portsmouth following a sudden death that was reported to us just before midday today, Sunday April 22. ‘Officers are investigating the circumstances of the death but it is not believed to be suspicious.’
