Police ‘Very Concerned’ About Missing Highworth Woman

Wiltshire Police Appeal for Help in Finding 54-Year-Old Anita

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing woman from Highworth, who was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, February 5.

The woman, known as Anita, is a well-known lollipop lady in the town and was last spotted at approximately 9am.

Wiltshire Police have launched an urgent appeal, asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Description of Anita

Height: Around 5ft 5ins tall
Other features: Wears glasses, has greying hair tied up
Clothing: Last seen wearing a grey fleece over a red hoodie and jeans

Police ‘Very Concerned’ for Her Welfare

Authorities have stated they are “very concerned” for Anita’s safety and are urging anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said:

“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Anita or has any information on her whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency. Her family and friends are extremely worried about her.

If you see Anita or have any information, call Wiltshire Police immediately on 999, quoting log 85 of February 5.

Police are urging anyone in the area to check dashcam footage, CCTV, or doorbell cameras in case Anita was recorded in the vicinity.
