Police Release CCTV after Serious Sex Attack in Southampton Park

Detectives investigating a sexual assault in a Southampton park have release CCTV Police continue to investigate a report of a sexual assault against a 23-year-old woman that occurred in Watts Park near Cumberland Place between 1am and 2am on Sunday morning, October 30. Officers can now release this CCTV image of a man they wish to identify in connection with the incident. Do you recognise him? Police are continuing to carry out enquiries and would ask if anyone recognises this man or was in this area around this time who may have seen anything suspicious to call 101 quoting 44160409643. Southampton Central Neighbourhood Officers will be carrying out hi-visibility patrols in the area in the coming days to provide reassurance. Their advice to people : walking through the city late at night to stay with friends, look out for each other and stick to well-lit, busy areas.
