Police Question teenager from London of Former Southampton Boxer Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Michael Freshwater have today (Tuesday, May 10) arrested a 17-year-old boy from London on suspicion of murder. This is the eleventh arrest made by detectives after Michael’s body was found at an address in Westridge Road, Southampton at around 4.15pm on Friday, April 29. A 34-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Monday, May 9) on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in police custody. Police in Southampton continue to appeal for information and would urge anyone who can assist with the investigation to get in contact by calling 101 and quoting Operation Windless.
