Police arrest two over Havant Violent Disorder

Officers investigating a large public order incident in Leigh Park Sunday (8 July) have arrested two people.A number of people were involved in dangerous driving and dangerous cycling, including driving on the wrong sides of roads and blocking roads in the Leigh Park area.A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Havant have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and grievous bodily harm. The 17-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of assault a constable. Both people have been released from custody but remain under investigation.A 19-year-old man from Havant was arrested but has since been released with no further action.Police like to hear from anyone who witnessed any of the incidents.If you have any information, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 44180256637.
