Police appeal after residential burglary in Redhill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a residential burglary in Redhill last week.

The incident took place at a property in Gatton Park Road sometime between 9.39am and 1.15pm on Thursday, 14 August.

Officers were called after the homeowner returned to find the front door wide open and their property burgled.

Detectives are now appealing to the public for information and are particularly keen to speak to a man seen in the area at the time. He is described as:

  • Asian male

  • Around 5ft 10ins tall

  • Slim build

  • Short black hair

A Surrey Police spokesperson said:

“If you were in the Gatton Park Road area between 9.30am and 1.15pm on Thursday, 14 August, and saw anything suspicious, please get in touch. We are also asking local residents to check their CCTV or smart doorbell footage for anything which could assist our investigation.”
