Person Hit by Train at Crawley: All Lines Blocked

A person has been struck by a train at Crawley, resulting in the closure of all lines between Three Bridges and Horsham. The incident, currently under investigation by authorities, has prompted significant disruptions to rail services in the affected areas.

Southern Rail UK issued a statement, informing passengers of the situation and advising them to seek alternative routes for their journeys. Due to the ongoing police response and investigation, all train lines remain blocked, exacerbating travel delays and inconveniences for commuters.

Passengers travelling on routes including London Victoria to Southampton Central, Peterborough to Horsham, and London Victoria to Portsmouth Harbour are advised to expect delays and plan their journeys accordingly. Southern Rail UK recommends allocating an additional 40 minutes of travel time to accommodate for the disruption.
