Pensioner Arrested After Stabbing Shakes Quiet Devizes Street

Knife Attack Sparks Shock on Station Road

A 74-year-old pensioner was arrested after a man was stabbed inside a home on Station Road, Devizes, last Wednesday evening. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at around 5.30pm following reports of a knife attack.

Victim Sustains Serious but Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Wiltshire Police confirmed the victim suffered serious wounds but is expected to survive. The dramatic attack has rocked the usually peaceful Devizes neighbourhood.

Suspect Bailed as Police Probe Continues

The pensioner was held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. After questioning, he was released on conditional bail while investigations remain ongoing.
