Overnight Burglary in Gosport see Red Handbag Stolen

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for information and offering advice following the burglary of a house in Bury Close, Gosport. This occurred overnight between the 26th and 27th August 2018. A handbag containing a red purse, cash and two debit cards was stolen. Please make sure your house is as secure as possible by considering the following: Lock your doors and windows every time you leave the house, even when you’re just out in the garden Hide all keys, including car keys, out of sight and away from the letterbox Install a visual burglar alarm Install good outside lighting Get a trusted neighbour to keep an eye on your property Leave radios or lights in your house on a timer to make the property appear occupied Make sure the fences around your garden are in good condition Store any high-value items (i.e. jewellery, passports) in a properly secured safe or bank vault If you see or hear anything suspicious please call Police immediately.
