It’s estimated that over 4000 people of all ages turned out on Monday evening with excellent weather conditions. Hundreds of people set off from Bembridge and St Helens to walk along the causeway to St Helen’s Fort. The walk is unorganised and has no set date or time. But thanks to social media the walk has grown in popularity and is seeing more and more walkers taking part each and every year. Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were keeping a watch over the walkers alongside Bembridge RNLI’s inshore D-class lifeboat. [su_youtube url=”https:///youtu.be/HNKVyFes5ZM”]
