Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, responded immediately. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for emergency treatment.

Appeal for Information

The Metropolitan Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage. Officers are working to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

“Anyone with information that could assist police, including any dash cam footage, is asked to call 101 or contact @MetCC on X, quoting CAD 7957/30JUNE,” a spokesperson said.

No arrests have been made at this stage, and the investigation remains ongoing.

We believe the collision may have occurred on Mahrinda Way near Roman Court, not Noel Road as initially stated by the Metropolitan Police. We have contacted the Met Police Press Office to clarify the exact location.

However, due to the significance of the appeal for dashcam footage and the fact that it has taken nearly 21 hours for official confirmation of the incident, we have chosen not to delay the appeal further.

We will provide an update on the correct location as soon as we receive a response from police.
