Murder Investigation Underway Following Fatal Stabbing Of Teenager In Edmonton

A murder investigation has been launched after a tragic incident unfolded in Kendal Gardens, N18, resulting in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old teenager. Police were alerted to the scene at 23:27 BST on Sunday, October 1, prompting a swift response from both officers and ambulance services.

Despite the diligent efforts of emergency services, the young victim succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Specialist officers have informed the family of the devastating loss, offering them support during this unimaginably difficult time.

The investigative process is underway, with a crime scene established in Kendal Gardens. Detectives, local police officers, and forensic specialists are meticulously conducting their work to gather crucial evidence.

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, overseeing the Met’s North Area BCU, expressed gratitude for the patience of local residents during the ongoing police activities.
