Man Injured in Glass Bottle Assault in Anerley Park: One Arrest Made

A man remains in hospital following an assault involving a glass bottle in Anerley Park, southeast London.

The incident occurred at approximately 5.38pm on Saturday, 29 March. Police were called to the scene after reports of an assault in the SE20 area.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim with head injuries, reportedly sustained after being struck with a glass bottle. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment. Medical professionals have since assessed his injuries as non-life-threatening.

One man was arrested near the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Police have confirmed that enquiries into the circumstances of the assault are ongoing.
