Man has lucky escape after Mercedes-Benz burst into flames

A man has escaped with his life after carrying work on a vehicle on Long Lane in Stanwell this afternoon. The unnamed man was moment earlier carry out maintenance on the black Merc when it burst into flames and engulfed both the vehicle and the man.   The man pictures in black escaped with burns to his arms and face. Fire crews from Surrey and Paramedic  from London Ambulance have both attended the incident that happened just after 6pm on Saturday.
