Man charged with petrol station stabbing

Police investigating a stabbing in Thornton Heath in December 2018 have arrested and charged a man. Bekim Maci, 19, of Pollards Hill South, SW16, was arrested on Tuesday, 11 June and subsequently charged with Section 18 Wounding with intent. The charges follow an incident at an Esso garage in London Road, Thornton Heath on 21 December 2018, where a man was stabbed following an altercation. Maci was also charged with two separate unrelated offences, and with failing to appear in court. He appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 12 June.
