He faces two counts of murder, one count of Section 18 grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon. Cevik is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday 11 August.

Police were called to Long Lane, SE1, at around 1pm on 28 July after reports of multiple people being assaulted at a business unit. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended, treating four victims for stab wounds.

Despite emergency efforts, 27-year-old Brendan McMillan was pronounced dead at the scene. His father, 58-year-old Terry McMillan from Chislehurst, Bromley, died shortly afterwards in hospital. A third man, aged 47, sustained serious injuries but survived.
