Five people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a van was reportedly used to smash through shutters of a business in Aylesford. Kent Police was called just after 9pm on Wednesday 11 July 2018 after a Ford Transit collided with the front of a store in Wood Close, Quarry Wood. It is alleged a number of power tools were stolen from the property before the van then left the scene. Minutes later officers identified a suspicious vehicle and followed it towards the M20 motorway. Following a pursuit it was brought to a controlled stop at a location close to junction three. Three teenage boys, along with two men aged 24 and 19, were arrested and remain in custody. The van has been seized by police and property reported as stolen has also been recovered.
