Joseph Eubank, the youngest son of renowned boxing legend Chris Eubank, has appeared in court to face two charges of rape. The 27-year-old is accused of committing these offences near Brighton Palace Pier in 2022.
Eubank was arrested and subsequently charged last year in connection with the alleged incidents. He now faces two counts of rape of a woman over the age of 16, which were brought before Brighton Magistrates’ Court today.
The charges stem from a report filed by a young woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by a man near the pier on July 16, 2022. Following the report, specialist officers provided support to the victim, and an investigation was initiated.
Joseph Eubank hails from Hove, East Sussex, and had previously been released on bail under strict conditions. Today’s court appearance marks a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings.
Joseph Eubank is part of the Eubank family legacy, with his father, Chris Eubank Sr., being a prominent figure in the world of professional boxing. The Eubank family’s connection to the sport has made this case particularly noteworthy.
The legal process will continue, and the court will deliberate on the charges brought against Joseph Eubank as the case unfolds.
