Information is sought after beach huts in Broadstairs were broken into – UKNIP

Kent Police was contacted on the morning of Saturday 8 July 2023 and it was reported that, overnight between Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July, a number of beach huts in the Viking Bay area had been broken into.

An investigation into the incidents is ongoing and anyone with information, or CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist, is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/122226/23.

Owners of huts in the area are advised not to leave anything of high value in them overnight and ensure they are left secure.

Anyone whose beach hut has been broken into and who has yet to speak to police is also urged to report it through the Kent Police website.
